  1. Power and Wiring: Ensure the sensor is powered with a DC supply only, as AC voltage can damage the unit.   • Incorrect Output: Reinitialize settings using the button and verify timer settings (on-delay, off-delay, one-shot) are configured correctly .

Installation Verification

  • Ensure the amplifier is mounted securely on a DIN rail or wall bracket. Check that expansion units and end units are properly engaged .
  • Confirm that the power supply and control inputs are connected to a single Class 2 source, and overcurrent protection is rated between 30V and 1A . By systematically checking these areas—power, fiber connection, environmental conditions, sensitivity, and APC settings—you can effectively debug the FS-N10 Digital Fiber Optic Sensor and restore reliable operation.
