1. Prepare the Mounting Surface Drill and attach a 1/4” - 20 double-sided hanger bolt to the substrate. For wood, use the supplied detail; for other materials, select appropriate studs or anchors sourced by the installer . Ensure the mounting surface is stable and level. 2. Prepare the Baffle Wire Identify the threaded end of the barrel and the swage end of the wire. Insert the plain end of the supplied wire through the large threaded end of the barrel until the swage end is seated securely . 3. Attach the Baffle to the Hanger Bolt Screw the threaded end of the barrel onto the installed hanger bolt. This will suspend the baffle in the desired position within the distribution box . 4. Secure the Wire with Adjustable Fasteners Insert the plain end of the wire through one side of the adjustable fastener, then re-insert it into the remaining side until it is firmly secured. The wire length can be adjusted by depressing the tab on the fastener to achieve the correct height and tension . 5. Trim Excess Wire Once the baffle is properly suspended and aligned, trim any excess wire with wire cutters to prevent interference with other components .
