Material and Resin System

Chad FRP cable trays use unsaturated polyester or vinyl ester resin systems that are flame-retardant and UV-stabilized for long-term durability in corrosive environments. The isophthalic polyester (FR-P) resin is commonly used for general applications, while vinyl ester (FR-VE) resin is preferred in highly corrosive conditions involving strong acids, alkalis, organic solvents, or halogenated compounds . The fiberglass content in pultruded sections is 55–60%, ensuring high mechanical strength, while molded parts have 30–40% glass content .

Structural Design
