The transmitter consists of pseudo-random bit sequence generator operating at 1Gbit/sec, NRZI sequence encoder converts data one format to another format, and NRZ-OOK modulation is a simplest on–off-keying modulation. This experimental paper provides a detailed stepwise understanding of system imple-mentation for VLC using of-the-shelf components. Four phosphor-coated ultra-bright white Light Emitting Diodes (LED) and a silicon Positive Intrinsic Negative (PIN) pho-todetector are used in the experimental study. Shortwave Radio Broadcast Country Congo Republic, transmitter site, number, power, manufacturer and type number. PWM dimming frequency was tested at 1 kHz with a 30% duty cycle. The achieved data rate for NRZ-OOK is 10 kbps, significantly improving communication.
