1. Safety First Before starting, ensure the main power supply is turned off to prevent electrical shock. Use insulated tools and wear protective gear during installation . 2. Fix the Distribution Box Mount the distribution box securely on a wall at an accessible height, ensuring the installation site is free of obstructions . 3. Connect the Main Power Supply

Identify the incoming live (phase) wire, typically brown or red, and the neutral wire, usually blue .
Connect the phase and neutral wires from the power supply to the input terminals of the main double-pole MCB. This MCB acts as the main switch for the distribution box . 4. Connect the RCCB (Residual Current Circuit Breaker)
Connect the output of the main MCB to the input of the RCCB. The RCCB provides protection against leakage currents and is essential for safety .
From the RCCB, the phase and neutral wires are routed to the branch MCBs. 5. Connect Branch Circuit Breakers
For single-pole MCBs, connect only the phase wire from the RCCB output to the MCB input. The neutral wire is connected to the neutral bus bar .
For double-pole MCBs, connect both phase and neutral wires from the RCCB output to the MCB input. The output terminals of the MCB then supply the connected load .
Arrange the MCBs from left to right, keeping reserved positions on the right side for future expansion . 6. Neutral and Earth Connections
