How to configure the wiring for the screen cabinet device

Proper wiring of screen cabinets involves connecting power, data, and control signals in sequence from the S-Box or sending card to each cabinet, ensuring grounding, labeling, and correct cable routing for stable operation.

Step 1: Power Connections

Each cabinet requires a stable power supply. Plan circuits with headroom, label breakers, and keep power cable runs tidy and strain-relieved. Confirm grounding continuity according to local electrical codes to prevent random resets, flickering, or component damage. Use consistent wiring practices across all cabinets to maintain safety and performance .

Step 2: Data and Signal Wiring

• Connect the DATA OUT port of the S-Box to the DATA IN port of the first cabinet using the provided OCM cable.
• Continue linking each cabinet in sequence from DATA OUT to DATA IN of the next cabinet.
• For redundancy, connect the DATA IN (Reverse) port of the S-Box to the DATA OUT port of the last cabinet .
• Ensure only one cabinet model is connected per S-Box to avoid compatibility issues .

Step 3: Control and Sensor Connections

• Connect the IR receiver to the IR terminal on the front of the S-Box. Ensure the receiver is unobstructed.
• Connect the ambient light sensor to the Eco Sensor terminal and turn it on to adjust luminance settings.
• If needed, connect the RS232C adapter to the RS232C IN terminal for initial network setup or debugging .

Step 4: Software and Configuration

• Install NovaLCT software on your PC and allow all drivers and add-ons to install.
• Configure your PC graphics card to Duplicate mode for initial setup to verify pixel-perfect display. Set scale and layout to 100% without stretching .
• Use NovaLCT to configure sending and receiving cards, ensuring each cabinet is recognized and mapped correctly. Check that green and red LEDs on each cabinet indicate proper connection .

Step 5: Testing and Verification

• Power on the S-Box and cabinets sequentially.
• Verify that the display shows content without flickering, signal loss, or delays.
• Document cable routing and connections with photos or a checklist for future maintenance . Following these steps ensures a stable, safe, and high-quality LED display setup, minimizing common issues like flickering, loss of control signal, or display delays .
